So the 'Elf on the Shelf' joined our family over the weekend. An adorable book and fun magical idea for Charlie. Charlie has LOVED having Ernie around, loves finding his new spot each morning, and is very into following the one elf rule 'You are not aloud to touch the elf'. It does highlight Santa probably more than we were ready for around here but its still such a sweet and fun idea. Check it out for your dreaming little ones!!

Elf on the Shelf joined our family yesterday! After our trip to Santa...there was a present from him on our porch. We've never done much to encourage Santa one way or the other...I know what you mean about this promoting the idea more. But the girls like it and rushed down to find him this morning (which at 5am I realized he hadn't moved and I had to run downstairs)...our Elf, after much debate is named Buddy.
hey...we have alfie the elf! we got him from my sister...so fun except from when mom forgets to "move" him 2 days in row. ha :) i think he is so cute..
ours is named "little red". funny - ours forgets to move some days, too! =) our boys liked it when he took audrey's baby stroller and perched it on top of our armoire and then sat in it to get a good view. =) (audrey was a bit mortified however)
